COVID-19 Customer Update
Nutrien has confirmed with both the Canadian and US governments that there are currently no plans to close the border to freight shipments by rail or truck between Canada and the US (and vice versa). Fertilizer is moving normally throughout our supply chain at present.
Crop inputs are essential for food production. We have activated our pandemic plans in response to COVID-19 to ensure our plants, mines, and supply chains continue to operate reliably so we can play our part to ensure food security. In the US, we have been deemed critical infrastructure and are pursuing a similar designation in Canada. We have been closely engaged with our supply chain partners to ensure they have robust plans in place to support our efforts, and have put in place contingency plans as well.
