We’re dedicated to creating genuine connections and sustainable outcomes with our communities through engagement, volunteerism, education, collaboration, and positive impact. Our community relations and investment activities strive to positively influence the areas where we operate. We engage with our communities through events, advisory panels, and civic or charitable organizations. Volunteerism is highly encouraged, and we have programs to facilitate and reward employee involvement. Education is a key focus, with award-winning programs that promote understanding of agriculture, sustainability, environmental stewardship, food security, and soil health. We value authentic collaboration and partnerships and work closely with community partners to achieve impactful and lasting results in their projects and programs.
We direct our community investment funds to the focus areas that Nutrien is already engaged in through business: sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and industry workforce.
Local representatives and committees assess donation requests for their location because we believe that people who live and work in the area best understand the unique needs of their community.
All requests for Nutrien funding, including in-kind donations, must be submitted online. Please be sure to read the application guidelines completely before applying to ensure your project is aligned with our focus areas and desired results.
