Behind every farmer is a person working hard to feed the future with Nutrien
You work in potash – what does that look like?
It doesn’t look the same for everyone. But every role at Nutrien connects to the same purpose: helping farmers grow food – safely and reliably.
Some roles start kilometres underground. Others power critical systems, keep operations running, or move products across continents.
These are a few of the people behind every farmer at our Allan Potash site, working together to feed the future.

Elora McLeod
Electrical General Foreperson, Allan (above ground)
“The work we do here is so important in delivering the final product to farmers, in a reliable way.”
Reliable power is the foundation of everything that happens at a potash site. Elora leads the teams responsible for the electrical and instrumentation systems that keep both underground and surface operations running safely and efficiently – 24/7.
Without dependable power, there is no mining, no processing, and no product moving down the line. Elora’s work ensures systems stay online, equipment performs as designed, and operations remain resilient. From kilometres underground to the mill on surface, her role helps turn Saskatchewan resources into nutrients farmers can count on.

Tanner Turkenburg
Backup Operator, Allan (underground)
“It all starts here, and eventually it makes its way to the farm.”
Working underground at the mine face, Tanner’s role focuses on something fundamental: clean air and safe conditions so mining can happen. By managing ventilation at the face, he helps protect his crew and keeps production moving forward.
It may be one of the first steps in the mining process, but its impact stretches far beyond the mine. Every tonne of potash starts underground. Tanner’s work helps ensure that journey begins safely – supporting the people, equipment, and systems that feed the entire value chain.

Nicole Hrycak
Flotation Operator – Mill, Allan (above ground)
“The adjustments I make affect the purity and consistency of the product.”
In the mill, Nicole helps transform raw ore into high-quality potash fertilizer. As a flotation operator, she monitors and adjusts complex systems that separate potash from other materials – directly influencing product quality.
The work she does ensures farmers receive a consistent, reliable nutrient that performs in the field. From purity to granule quality, her role connects mill precision to farm productivity, bridging mining with agriculture in a very real way.

Justin Boehm
Mill Maintenance Superintendent – Allan (above ground)
“It takes well‑planned maintenance and teamwork to keep the mill running.”
Justin leads the teams responsible for maintaining thousands of pieces of critical mill equipment. His focus: safety, reliability, and long-term performance.
Without strong maintenance, production stops, disrupting the whole value chain all the way to the farmer. Justin’s team prevents unplanned downtime, so potash moves reliably, helping farmers plan with confidence and depend on the supply chain when timing matters most.
Justin’s dad, Bob Boehm, is a constant reminder of that connection. He’s a farmer and has also worked at the Nutrien Allan potash site for 45 years. He is a warehouse coordinator, managing materials and inventory. The father-son colleagues share equal respect for each other’s work and the tied purpose behind what they do.

Linsey Lajeunesse
Senior Manager, Plant Finance – Allan (above ground)
“I’m part of the bigger picture of how this site fulfills its role in the network.”
Linsey connects on-site operations to the broader potash network through financial planning, forecasting, and decision support. Her role helps to align daily operational choices with long-term performance and sustainability.
By translating real-time site activity into strategic insight, Linsey supports responsible growth – ensuring resources are used wisely so Nutrien can continue delivering nutrients farmers rely on, today and into the future.

Sara Clavelle
Senior Manager, Commercial Projects – Midstream (above ground – Nutrien Tower, Saskatoon)
“Midstream is the critical link between the mine and farmers worldwide.”
Once potash leaves the mine, it moves through an extensive logistics and distribution network by rail, truck, and ocean vessel to reach farmers worldwide, no matter where they grow food.
Midstream work rarely gets seen – but without it, fertilizer doesn’t reach farmers. Sara’s role is focused on strengthening Nutrien’s supply chain capabilities to ensure that potash continues to arrive safely, efficiently, and on time, connecting Saskatchewan mines to food production around the world.
One value chain. Many roles. One purpose.
From underground to mill, from maintenance to finance, and from logistics to global delivery, every role at Nutrien contributes to feeding the world.
That’s what it means to be Behind Every Farmer.
