Explaining exploration: our Potash seismic program

Nutrien is proud to produce fertilizers that help grow food to feed our growing planet, and our Saskatchewan-based potash operations are essential to that effort.

To ensure that we can continue to produce potash fertilizers in a safe, efficient and sustainable way, we need to occasionally access private land for brief periods of time to conduct geological exploration.

We follow all government guidelines for exploration activities, and before any seismic work is done, we contact landowners and ask permission to access their land. We work with them to ensure we understand unique aspects of each property.

Still, understandably, the owners of this land have questions about what our exploration program entails, and that’s why we’re proud to share this video that walks through the process step by step.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly at land.potash@nutrien.com. We welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
