From Mine. To Farm. To You.

From Mine
Nutrien is a leading global provider of crop inputs and services, producing and distributing approximately 27 million tonnes of potash, nitrogen, and phosphate products for global agricultural, industrial, and feed customers.
We are the world’s largest soft rock miner and potash producer, and the journey begins deep underground at our six mines in Saskatchewan, home to some of the world’s richest potash deposits. Our potash business is over 65 years in the making and is a foundational part of Nutrien’s integrated network — working in tandem with our extensive midstream distribution network and downstream Retail operations. This alignment allows us to anticipate trends, respond quickly, and deliver the essential products and services farmers need more effectively.
Nutrien is also a major global player in nitrogen production and is the third-largest producer in the world. In Canada, six strategically located facilities in Alberta, form a robust network producing ammonia and other nitrogen-based fertilizers essential for agriculture and industrial use.

To Farm
As the world’s largest supplier of essential crop nutrients, Nutrien is a trusted partner to more than half a million growers across seven countries on three continents. Our global supply chain — including 25 midstream distribution assets and over 1,900 retail locations — ensures farmers have timely access to high-quality products and exceptional support throughout every season.
With local roots in Saskatchewan and a global workforce of 25,500 employees, Nutrien is committed to operational excellence, collaboration, and innovation to help farmers achieve stronger, healthier and more resilient crops — all in support of our shared goal of feeding a growing global population.

To You
In Canada, we are committed to empowering farmers and bolstering our communities through our extensive workforce and operations. Our team is critical to maintaining Nutrien’s leadership in global potash and nitrogen production, while predominantly sourcing from Canadian suppliers to help fortify the local economy. We remain deeply involved with numerous charities and non-profits, driven by our employees’ dedication to volunteering in the communities where they live and work.
In Saskatchewan, as the province’s largest private sector employer, we are proud of our strong community connections, with families tied to the region working across our six potash mines and corporate headquarters. Our commitment to community improvement is reflected in strategic partnerships and ongoing volunteer efforts with various organizations. We are proud to partner with more than 275 community organizations across Saskatchewan. To date, we’ve contributed the single largest gift — $15 million — to USask’s Be What the World Needs campaign. We also reached a major milestone, awarding $1.1 billion in potash procurement spending to Indigenous-owned companies between 2020 – 2024. These investments demonstrate the long-term impact our industry has on local communities and the broader Saskatchewan economy.
In Alberta, our dedicated workforce is essential to safely and efficiently operating our nitrogen facilities, collaborating with local communities to foster growth. Our operations, supported by local suppliers, continue to promote regional economic benefits and safety enhancements, strengthening the resilience and prosperity of our community partners.
Feeding the Future
Nutrien’s strong and trusted relationships with farmers are at the heart of our business. We spend our days with farmers — planning with them, walking their fields, and exploring ways to help them succeed. We have a comprehensive portfolio of crop inputs and services that span the ag value chain, and we work together with our customers to improve on-farm productivity and meet the needs of a growing global population. Nutrien stands ready to meet global challenges and help ensure food security for generations to come.
