Nutrien Lima Celebrates 15th Consecutive OCTC Award for Excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety & Security
For the fifteenth consecutive year, Nutrien’s Lima nitrogen facility has been honored with the 2025 Award for Excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety and Security. Presented by the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council (OCTC) at its awards ceremony on May 19, nominations were judged by a panel of industry peers and awarded based on demonstration of commitment and achievement in protecting people and the environment.
This year’s recognition specifically highlights upgrades to Lima’s chemical and oil storage systems, representing a significant step forward in safety and environmental stewardship.
“We’re proud to receive this recognition from our industry peers and the OCTC once again,” said Todd Sutton, General Manager at Nutrien Lima. “This award is a direct result of our team’s dedication and focus—and this honor truly belongs to them.”
Congratulations to everyone at Nutrien Lima for setting the bar high and exemplifying Nutrien’s commitment to excellence, year after year.
